Refund policy

Eligibility for Return:
 
MALACHIZA will not be liable for the cost of return and exchange shipping. Customers are responsible for any postage fees incurred during returns or exchanges.
 
Full-priced items are eligible for a refund or exchange if returned within 14 days of the delivery date. Return items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached.
 
Items that are soiled, worn, damaged, laundered, or have labels removed will not be accepted. MALACHIZA reserves the right to determine if a returned product has been soiled. If deemed soiled, orders will not be accepted for return or store credit. The return of any damaged or soiled items will be at the customer's expense or will be disposed of by MALACHIZA.
 
Returns are processed within 3-5 business days of arriving at our facility. A full refund will be issued upon the arrival and inspection of your return. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. For refunds issued to the original payment method, please allow 5-10 business days following processing for the refund to appear on your bank statement. If MALACHIZA determines that any products are not in original condition, a refund or exchange will not be granted, and the items will be returned to you.
 
Sale Items:
 
Sale items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. All sales are final, and we cannot make any pricing adjustments once the order has been placed.
 
MALACHIZA reserves the right to reject returns sent or communicated beyond the return period limit or items not in their original condition.
 
Start My Return or Exchange:
 
Making a return or exchange is easy. Follow these steps:
1. Email us at returns@malachiza.com or contact us via the website.
2. Include the following information in your email:
§  Your Order number.
§  For exchanges: specify the new size you need. If your size is unavailable, you may choose another product or request a credit note.
§  For returns: provide the reason for the return to assist us in processing your request.
3. We will review your request to determine eligibility for a refund or exchange.
4. Upon approval, we will send you detailed instructions on how to proceed.
 
Refunds:
 
You will receive an email with instructions to return your item, including the return address. We will generate a pre-paid return label upon request, with the amount later deducted from your final refund. Refunds are issued for the original value of the product at the time of purchase, excluding any shipping costs.
 
Note that sale items are not eligible for refunds, and shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
 
Refunds will be credited to the original purchase method, subject to our 14-day returns policy. Card refunds may take up to 10 business days to process, depending on your bank. Customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through MALACHIZA. You may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
 
Exchanges:
 
Customers are responsible for all postage fees for exchanges. Exchanges are subject to stock availability and our 14-day returns policy. Sale items are not eligible for exchange unless faulty or incorrectly described.
 
Faulty Goods:
 
All goods are thoroughly quality controlled and checked for faults before dispatch. Goods are classified as faulty if received damaged. Items damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty. Please check your items upon delivery and contact us immediately if they are not in perfect condition.
 
Please ensure you follow the 'Care Instruction' attached to your garments. MALACHIZA will not be held responsible if care instructions are not followed.
 
Hand Craft & Colours:
 
Each style is hand-crafted by our skilled artisans, making each piece unique. Slight variations in colour may occur, adding to the individuality of our products. We strive to display product colours accurately on MALACHIZA.COM, but cannot guarantee complete accuracy due to screen colour variations.
 
Lost Packages:
 
Please note that once proof of delivery is attached to a tracking number, MALACHIZA is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. All risks are assumed by the courier.
 
Pre-Order Policy:
 
Items that are marked as pre-order at check-out are expected to ship upon arrival to our facility. All customers are charged at checkout for pre-order items to the payment method provided. Once your order has been placed, we are unable to cancel or modify. Should you have any questions, please contact our team at support@malachiza.com.
 
Final Sale Items:
 
During sale periods, all sales are final. MALACHIZA reserves the right to extend, modify, or discontinue markdowns at any time without notice.
MALACHIZA does not participate in price matching with other retailers.
Final Note:
 
All items are quality controlled before dispatch. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us immediately. Items should be returned new, unused, and with all MALACHIZA garment tags attached. Damaged, soiled, or altered returns will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
 
Unidentified and unauthorized returns beyond the 14-day policy will not be accepted or processed. We will not be responsible for posting items back to you; they will be disposed of.
 
Items damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty. All customer returns are reviewed and monitored. Excessive returns may result in refusal or account closure at our discretion.
